Kalunza offers express shipping in South Africa with local couriers (E.G CourierGuy, Fastway) and worldwide via DHL or other courier services. All orders are processed Monday through Saturday. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing before shipping.

To ensure that your package is properly delivered and that you receive your package within the time frames stipulated by Kalunza please make sure that your address is correctly captured and includes all relevant and/or required information.

The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) is critical for ensuring timely delivery. Kalunza will not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided by you is incorrect or incorrectly entered at the time of purchase. Shipping is not available to a P.O. Box address.

After your payment is authorized and verified, the carrier will ensure speedy delivery between 3-10 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays). The status of the delivery can generally be tracked by using the waybill/tracking number provided. Simply login to your customer account and view the status of your order, under your order history page.

Custom duties and taxes

Kalunza ships on a DAP (Delivery At Place) basis. This means the price you pay to Kalunza will exclude all relevant import duties and sales taxes. As the recipient, you’ll be liable to pay these directly to our carrier to release your order from customs upon arrival.

Please note that custom duties and sales taxes are taxes paid to governments, Kalunza doesn’t receive these amounts. The amount of these custom duties and/or taxes depends on the location or country where receipt of the product will be delivered. Please, contact your local customs duties office if you want relevant information about the custom duties you will have to pay. Kalunza’s responsibility will not be engaged if, when purchasing, we don’t notify you whether import duties and/or taxes are applicable and if there is no indication regarding the amount you will have to pay.

In addition, with the customs duties and taxes, you may pay“Delivery Costs” which are due for the logistic and shipping linked with your purchase. These amounts are not due to Kalunza but to the transporter. When Kalunza offers “Free Delivery” promotions that means we cover delivery costs, but this excludes all customs duties and taxes that may be levied by your country's tax authority when your order arrives. If an exchange is desired, all shipping costs incurred are to be paid by the buyer.

Please see our return and refund policy for more information.  While all shipments are insured, deliveries may be delayed due to customs processing policies and requirements in your country. Kalunza is not responsible for unexpected delays caused by carrier issues such as interference with carrier routes, lost packages, bad weather or natural disasters.
